This pilot is wearing the 1926 uniform. The major changes on the uniform are the new open lapels on the jacket which replaced the high collars. He wears the new shoulder patch "spinning prop" which was recently authorized. His wings are a newer version of the post World War I wing. This uniform configuration was worn until the late 1930s.
