1930'S CAVALRY OFFICER

This Lieutenant is wearing the new pattern Ike jacket and breeches. This is a good example of how the typical cavalry officer dressed in the early World War II period performing duty stateside. Some officers choose to continue to wear the four pocket jacket but the authorization of the short Eisenhower style jacket proved to be very popular.
