INDIAN WAR ENLISTED

This Infantryman is dressed for campaign, wearing the 1872 pattern Kepi and the 1883 pattern five-button sack coat with Corporal chevrons. His trousers are sky blue with white Infantry stripes down each leg. He wears standard issue shoes or Brogans. He is also wearing the canvas and leather prairie belt and carries the entrenching tool, bayonet and canteen. A haversack is at his side. He carries an 1873 model 45-70 Springfield Trapdoor rifle.
